This Is Her! Zadig & Voltaire 2016

I had been looking for a fragrance for a long time that did justice to my imagination. I wanted to smell like I imagine a white satin dress to smell. A fragrance that you can wear in everyday life as well as for dinner when going out. Something gentle, soft, creamy but it should be special and eye-catching. Simply a heavenly fragrance with recognition value. After some research, I came across This is her and read, among other things, that it is definitely not a blind buy candidate. But I couldn't resist when I was able to get the fragrance for a bargain. The first time I sprayed it on, I thought: "wow, this is exactly what you've been looking for!" A soft, creamy, feel-good fragrance. It smells neat but expensive and niche. After about 30 minutes, I could understand the reviews that said the scent smelled like baby spit-up. It has something milky and spicy about it. But I wasn't put off at first. BUT after about an hour, the fragrance reminded me of a Zara men's fragrance that my ex was wearing at the time. Where had the creamy, comforting and soft scent suddenly gone? In the drydown, the fragrance smells extremely woody to me. I'm still trying to like it because it blew me away in the first few minutes. I now only wear the fragrance for layering, with scents that make it a bit more feminine. We are friends, but unfortunately not best friends yet.
