Dear Mochis..

About 3 years ago, an Instagrammerin successfully geinfluenced me to try Mochis. Quite excited, I looked for them everywhere until I successfully found them in an Edeka in Nuremberg. 2 different varieties: cocoa and pear.

Hardly at home, I have directly torn open the package and bitten into the tough, wobbly Mochi. The consistency? Interesting. The taste? Outstanding. Addictive? Definitely. And so my Mochiliebe was born.

This excitement broke out again with this perfume. "A Mochi Atelier in Tokyo" - I must have that! How do they want to get this rice scent? Do I want to smell like a mochi? That would be rather unspectacular, because mochi tastes rather good, but smell? Rather not. Often the surprise is yet only inside a mochi... a piece of pear, a cocoa cream.

Later I got this fragrance as a birthday gift from a dear friend. And what can I say? This is definitely a pear mochi! The rice or the rice flour you smell at the beginning quite clearly and is then overrun by the pear - and that's the surprise. The little pear piece in the middle. The scent develops into a nice fresh but at the same time sweet spring scent. What can I say? This scent is as interesting as its name and should be tried by all mochi lovers. Nothing spectacular, but something special.

P.S.: You have not yet tried Mochis? Then go, go, go! :-)

If you ever find yourself in Nuremberg again, 'Go Asia' has reopened today in the Karstadt downstairs = a kind of šŸ” Mochiparadis 😁. I don't want to smell like that & prefer to keep looking for minimalist sweet fragrances with the most authentic rice vapor possible. VGšŸ™‹šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø

Hey, I'm sorry to disappoint you, the fragrance is discontinued. But you can write to me.

if it is the one with rice milk, I have it at home and can imagine the scent even better now, thank you very much ;-) although there are Sakurakompenenten that do not fit pear and cocoa ... then it is possibly Dove lotion with almond&cocoa? I find the Rituals body milk also good ...

@Poesiefanny Try it out and give feedback afterwards times :-) I'm curious. Yes, I think of Dove there was once a body lotion that smelled similar.

Interesting amuse geule you describe in this review ... would love to try it sometime - both scent and treat ;-)
Some Asian rice milk body creams smell pretty fantastic too;
Rice Bowl for you :-)
#AOther - that sounds creepy.... do some people stuff all the sweets in their mouths at once on new year???

I liiove, love, love mochis! I ate them by accident in Thailand years ago and have been extremely addicted ever since. :) Unfortunately the scent is discontinued, so hard to get.

Mochis are not my thing (but I'm generally not that into rice either), but the scent sounds interesting anyway :)

@AOther No parallels to the scent fortunately :-) That's because the mochi is put completely in the mouth and the back part is not chewed properly. Then there's a danger of choking when swallowing, of course. Can of course also happen with overdose of this fragrance - so maybe parallel? :-)

Attention, Mochis can be dangerous.... every year some asians suffocate at new year because they try to eat as many of the "lucky charms" as possible. I hope there are no parallels to the scent ;-)

I can't get anything out of these gummy rice cakes... but the scent may be yummy anyway! :)
