stable pineapple brother
Opening
A really juicy, ripe pineapple. After a few minutes, citrus notes join in, along with something aquatic and a hint of lavender. However, the sweet pineapple continues to dominate. The opening is bellissimo.
Then it becomes a bit chewy, but not so exaggerated that it becomes off-putting, and it remains beautifully tropical-fruity. Aventus has been mentioned repeatedly, but I don't smell anything of that here.
As it develops, a light, woody leather joins in, which becomes stronger, but it remains subtle and gentle, perfectly blending into the fragrance profile. It is only really noticeable up close. The fruity sweetness combined with the leather and wood is so rounded; I have rarely experienced that. I would claim that in the end, a very slight hint of vanilla also comes through, and the chewy candy scent diminishes a bit.
Yeah, and that's pretty much it. There is a scent progression; the fragrance is good and perfectly balanced at every stage, but it is not incredibly complex or profound. However, I don't find that important in a "freshie." You definitely have to like the sweet pineapple theme, as pineapple remains the battle cry here, and especially the opening shows who the pineapple in the hood is. It smells beautifully matured and not like cheap booze. Although it somehow lacks the last 5-10% of that certain extra that would make the fragrance an absolute rocket, it is more than enough for a price-performance gem. The longevity on the skin is good; I could still smell it the next day, but I didn't find it that bad. I also apply a good amount, always with the motto: If you're going to do it, do it right. And especially in the first 2 hours, it projects really well and has a wonderfully fresh DNA on clothing. After that, it does tone down a bit, which I don't find too bad because having that sweet pineapple in your face for 8 hours would probably be annoying. But a little more would have been nice.
More for the carefree, self-confident man who is young or young at heart.
Sun, white T-shirt, white shoes, jeans, sunglasses, cigarette butts in the ear, turn up the music, a hefty dose of pineapple on the magnificent body, and off we go! But grandpa with his funky sunglasses in a Hawaiian shirt can rock it too. The Bogoss has a positive vibe, not for emos and frustrated A*D voters who, under blue skies and 30 degrees, get on the bus frustrated and sulking, immediately complaining as soon as they get the chance. Here, a beer is opened with good cheer, laughter is shared, and life is enjoyed.

Having pineapple in your face all day would turn me off too. Especially when you're really going for it. But it’s good that I quit smoking; that way, I don’t have to deal with cigarette butts in my ear anymore. They always bothered me on the bus, especially when they keep falling out while you're making faces because some emo with solid pineapple and music is entertaining the fellow passengers.
