A Fresh Fruit Basket in the Shade of the Arbor
Zara has released a new summer fragrance in its Red Temptation series.
BR Vibes with fruits, I was curious and wanted to test the scent before it sells out again.
Upon spraying, you find yourself in a cloud of fruity, sparkling lychee with raspberry. I can smell a vibe of BR only briefly right after spraying, but for me, it is hardly perceptible.
It could be a memory of last summer. I sit on one of those beautiful but hot days in the shade of the arbor, in front of me is a plate with the first frozen summer raspberries from the garden and fresh lychees. While I leisurely snack on the fruits, I enjoy the shady coolness and let my gaze wander over the last peonies in the bed. A gentle breeze carries the scent of the beautiful large flowers to me. For a moment, I savor the imaginary moment, then it disappears as fleetingly as this fresh scent from Zara.
The fruity freshness reminds me of my beloved Amethyst by Lalique, which, in contrast to this one, has a full aroma of blackcurrants. Red Temptation Summer has a beautiful aura of raspberries in a very similar way, sparkling with a bit of sweetness but not too much. A very fresh peony gives this fragrance a floral touch in the heart note. However, after that, it remains on my skin without any further scent development.
The longevity is a generous 4 hours on my skin, and the sillage becomes very close to the skin after a short time. For me, it's a lovely summer fragrance that can be reapplied without hesitation on hot days. This scent will gladly accompany me this summer.
