Red Temptation Summer - Perfect for Summer

Love, love love this new scent. Shame it is a limmited addition. Have already ordered a back up bottle, but think I may need to get another one. Its seet, juicy fruity, floral, sweet and warm too. Perfect balance. Not too sickly sweet nor is it too heavy. Lovely!! I hope Zara dont discontinue it too soon!! Hurry and buy yours as they are selling our everywhere.

Red temptation summer

Oh my gosh I looooove this!!!!! This is perfect for the upcoming warmer months ^_^!! At first sniff, this smells like the love child between Red Temptation and Delina (or maybe Very Good Girl… basically that fruity lychee rose DNA). It’s got a tiny hint of Zara Rose Gourmand too. This is super pretty, feminine, and sweet. Imagine a fruity lychee rose fragrance but with a hint of BR540 in there. SO refreshing for warmer months.

Just a few words about the longevity

As the title suggests, I would like to briefly address what I consider to be the fantastic longevity of this fragrance. Perhaps one becomes nose-blind to this scent quickly, as that is the only way I can explain the poor ratings for its longevity.

I only spray it on the skin of my hands and wrists, and otherwise only on my clothing. On my skin, I can still smell the fragrance very clearly after 5+ hours. On clothing, it lasts nearly forever. Four sprays lasted over 48 hours for me. I wore the dress for half the day, hung it on a hanger outside the wardrobe, and could smell the fragrance in the bedroom on the first and second day, and still on the third day when I walked past the dress (Yep, I just intentionally left it hanging).

So just a note that you might not be able to perceive it on yourself anymore, but it can still be very much present.

A Fresh Fruit Basket in the Shade of the Arbor

Zara has released a new summer fragrance in its Red Temptation series.
BR Vibes with fruits, I was curious and wanted to test the scent before it sells out again.

Upon spraying, you find yourself in a cloud of fruity, sparkling lychee with raspberry. I can smell a vibe of BR only briefly right after spraying, but for me, it is hardly perceptible.

It could be a memory of last summer. I sit on one of those beautiful but hot days in the shade of the arbor, in front of me is a plate with the first frozen summer raspberries from the garden and fresh lychees. While I leisurely snack on the fruits, I enjoy the shady coolness and let my gaze wander over the last peonies in the bed. A gentle breeze carries the scent of the beautiful large flowers to me. For a moment, I savor the imaginary moment, then it disappears as fleetingly as this fresh scent from Zara.

The fruity freshness reminds me of my beloved Amethyst by Lalique, which, in contrast to this one, has a full aroma of blackcurrants. Red Temptation Summer has a beautiful aura of raspberries in a very similar way, sparkling with a bit of sweetness but not too much. A very fresh peony gives this fragrance a floral touch in the heart note. However, after that, it remains on my skin without any further scent development.

The longevity is a generous 4 hours on my skin, and the sillage becomes very close to the skin after a short time. For me, it's a lovely summer fragrance that can be reapplied without hesitation on hot days. This scent will gladly accompany me this summer.
