Eternal Summer
Villa Irlanda captures the summer and characterizes it with an estate that today is a Grand Hotel on the shores of the Gulf of Gaeta. About halfway between Rome and Naples.
The property itself is historically highly interesting. Partly built on the ruins of a royal villa from the 1st century B.C., the majority comprise three former buildings of a monastery, built from 1900, which today, with the main house, accommodate 49 rooms and 5 suites. Here, craftsmanship meets history. Architecturally, as historically. A special form of luxury in the sense of recreation and accommodation.
The mild climate and the ubiquitous Italian lemons are the epitome of the scent of summer. Full of memories and deep closeness to nature. The naturalness of the lavender is so pure and balanced in its composition that I really yearn for sun and warmth.
Vetiver and oakmoss are - for me - basically a kind of signature ingredients in Zingaro fragrances. They bring green and some earthiness into the scents. An identity across scents.
They are carriers for all the beautiful stories told by zingaro.
