Synthetic ginger overkill
Tom Tailor's new women's fragrance is unfortunately such a typical drugstore mogel pack.
The fragrance pyramid doesn't look so unexciting and in the first seconds the fragrance also looks fresh and lively with bergamot and ginger. Unfortunately, the former says goodbye after only a few moments and a synthetic ginger note remains. After about 10 minutes, a diffuse flowery smell reminiscent of a room spray mixes with it. We know at least since Twilly d'hermes that ginger on top can turn a madam flower scent into a youthful, fresh and yet elegant affair in the twinkling of an eye. But only if the quality is right. And that is not the case here. Base notes are also hardly noticeable. Something woody with a lot of imagination, but still first and foremost a pungent artificial ginger smell. It reminds me a little of the smell you get when you enter certain junk shops.
The scent is quite durable but the Sillage relatively close to the body... Fortunately.
I can hardly imagine that this release will be a success. For most people, the scent will be too special and ginger fans will rather immediately reach for something of high quality
