Waves of Sound
Admittedly, the bottle is stylish and evokes many beautiful vacation days. A quiet beach, lonely and deserted. Somewhere on a small island. There is nothing but the sound of the waves and this scent on warm tanned skin, caressed by a lukewarm breeze. It could be so lovely..
But Clifton is not what one associates with such a scene. The image does not match the content. It has nothing to do with the sea or a true summer vibe. Rather, for me, it is a cheap peach sparkling wine that over time develops a very bitter note. Everything is saturated with a greasy, almost lard-like note of indefinable flowers, coated with vanilla and dry cinnamon. The scent clings to the body, leaving hardly any room to breathe. There is no development, no finesse, no depth. Thoughts are blinded by sheer shrillness. The peach sparkling wine sits like a lump in the throat and allows a not to be underestimated note of alcohol to seep from every pore of the body.
Totally unattractive and unsexy! Connections that do not fit at all and do not develop in the slightest. They remain stagnant. I associate the scent with the cheap peach sparkling wine from Penny, where I later thought that I wouldn鈥檛 even dip my feet in it. Clifton creates exactly this image, and that is why it is, for me, one of the scents in 2024 that truly repelled me.
Longevity and sillage are quite strong, and you smell it for a long time. Unfortunately, not to my pleasure.

I can't really relate to the description, but to each their own.
I think everyone here is more or less grown up enough to form their own opinion. (Which isn't reflected in the comments 馃槝)
Definitely not for me.
It sounds so mushy, it probably stings too.
