The herbaceous-green, resinous creaminess of fig is mixed here with floral sunscreen. Does that go together? It does! Curious.

I've rarely been so torn by a fragrance. Unfortunately, I don't like fig in perfumes; it usually takes over and comes off too harsh and resinous for me. However, here, despite its strong presence, it surprisingly works well with the floral sunscreen and "beach" notes (orange blossom!). The image on the bottle fits perfectly: sandy beach & sea, with rugged cliffs in the background. The rough fig has been perfectly captured olfactorily :-) Plus, the longevity and sillage of Clifton are nearly endless! A small spritz from the sample on a little paper towel scented my entire hallway for 3 days. Unbelievable!
