I've also come across the fragrances. At first, I thought they were some kind of exclusive series from a luxury hotel. But when I saw that they were available for a slim €50 at Rossmann, I realized I was completely off track. Or better yet, like here on the faux-wood path. It doesn't sound bad, but you probably shouldn't expect too much.
It's easy to explain who’s behind the scents, @SchatzSucher and @ParfumAholic: It's 2 Pilots, who also launch the other brand fragrances available at Rossi and Mülli (like Rammstein, Babylon Berlin, Motörhead, etc.). They use well-known brand names to create fragrances, which usually works out pretty well.
I thought the same at first.
I'm curious about who is behind the fragrances. Unfortunately, the others didn't have testers. I would have been interested in those too.
Gradually, the overly pronounced synthetic wood notes cling too tightly and end up being a party pooper. It's a nice idea in itself, and when synthetic elements are well integrated, I can handle it, but the overly persistent and intrusive artificial wood is unfortunately used too liberally as a filler. Still, there are definitely much more unpleasant scents in this regard.
