Matcha Matcha Aetherii Fragrance 2025

I think I found it. My dragon's nest. I've found myself normally super excited to share my fragrances with others (for free!! I love a sniff party). But for this one I will be counting every single spray. Doesn't help that it's very discontinued I smelt it at a store today, sprayed it on my bicep, shoved it into my nose once or twice a minute for an hour straight, and put in an order for the biggest size they have (50ml), 3 left in the store. Maybe I'll get another?
This is pretty much a gourmand, I think, especially on the drydown. It starts off bergamot and matcha-y, and then has a touch of juice in the heart. But the kicker is the most photorealistic hojicha drydown I could ever imagine. This smells like I was roasting the leaves myself, and it's lightly lactonic, without any of the actual cloy that real hojicha latte has when you've spilt it on your skin (ask me how I know). I have dreamt of smelling like I showered in lapsang souchong, and this is maybe better, if you can believe it (I certainly can't!!). I did not know I could like a gourmand on my skin in 26 degree sticky heat. I have been bested.
