Rose in rosé and light green
When this fragrance was launched two years ago, it was only available in a 10ml roll-on.
However, at the same time, shower gel, a very liquid body milk for spraying, and face cream gel were introduced, which I found very nice. Today, I am glad that I stocked up on shower gel and body milk, as both are no longer available.
The good news is that instead of the 10ml roll-on, there is now a 100ml spray bottle for the EdT, which I ordered immediately.
À la Rose is a very fresh, green rose fragrance that reminds one of blooming wild roses in the early morning hours when the petals are still dewy.
In contrast to many other inexpensive rose fragrances on the market, À la Rose is not artificial or otherwise overpowering at all, but rather smells very natural and fresh.
The longevity is surprisingly good and can be significantly extended and enhanced by the very liquid body milk for spraying.
The sillage is fine and rather subtle, yet the fresh rose scent is well perceivable in the vicinity of the wearer.
I find it more than regrettable that there are no other products in this line besides the EdT and face cream. It is simply delightful when a fragrance has a note from cleansing to caring to scenting. It makes the care all the more enjoyable. Perhaps CCB will reconsider this and reintroduce the additional products.
