Simply Good Mood
I received a sample of this as a gift and then ordered the fragrance. It opens very citrusy, as if one had rubbed their entire body with lemons. There’s a hint of green apple, and the bamboo leaf is more of a suggestion.
The heart note for me is white flowers, but a whole bouquet of them. The transition to the base is soft and leads into a beautiful, woody tone that emphasizes the freshness.
In my opinion, it has nothing to do with LYS or Eau de Lys from MdB. I also can't really identify the lily after which it is named. However, I think that’s fine. On the contrary, I actually prefer it this way, as I find lilies alone to be quite headache-inducing and too strong. It’s a true feel-good fragrance, absolutely perfect for spring and early summer. Unobtrusive yet present.
I’m not really a fan of MdB, but this one has claimed its place in my collection. When I’m happy and then apply Fleur de Lys, my feeling of happiness is even intensified.
