i would most likely say:
Super old 2,200,000 million year old wood forgotten somewhere in the jungle, mossy, rotting and
in all that time all the little animals have
on it over and over again the animals have died and new ones have continued but the wood lives on and on has seen and felt so much it has survived thanks to its biological leather skin so it still rests in the forest of modern times and waits for the next bang.
