The story of the Lerderdrachen
i look for a test in an ancient Chinese library and find an old book bound in dark leather on a dusty bookshelf, the first lines read:
War is coming the oud gods have destroyed their reserves seize power conquer oud forests and take foreign crops like locusts they fall across the land attack innocent farmers and burn everything down and steal valuable oil the ever-recurring battle in the endless land, the epic battlefield of the Samurei it smokes, burning oud trees, Ash and smoke an oily tar trail is left behind by the coal-powered Mongolian musk ox cart the magical tobacco resin is pressed into deep furrows in the earth then the brown dragon comes in the dark and blows its warm spicy leather breath over the tarry eagle wood embers, far in the distance the dawn steams peacefully small dewdrops hide the red fruits here it is still quiet but they will come soon.
----------------------------------------------
i don't even know where to start:
Al Shareef Oudh, headquartered in Perth, Australia and with a branch in Kelentan, Malaysia, so right at a source, is for me next to Ensar at the top of perfection Al Shareef is somehow more honest keeps a low profile from previous harvests is sparing with new fragrances from Yunnan, a region in China where beautiful eaglewood grew, this oil is
from 2013 and almost finished ripening with me the consistency is very sticky like warm honey the color is pitch black but in the light beautifully purple, pink, reddish actually I don't know the color is new reminds me of the pictorial window panes of a church there the colors are also so different beautiful I let half a toothpick length dip in maybe too much or have I always wiped too carefully up to here the opening ceremony was spiritual a dark power of eternally old wood creeps over the nose directly onto the tongue the breath became heavy the lips moist and tiny after oud tart woody moist musty red samurei leather warms hot embers smoke and ethereal heat an incomprehensible magical animalic rises from the flames dragon scale skin
sweet and wild as in Mongolia Musk only even more epic due to the degree of maturity, but no camphor no mint no oriental spices and no sandalwood from the fresh core wood to start with apart from the fact that after 24 hours the beautiful journey ends again Oil lasts forever is still on my upper arm despite 2x showers the toothpick has scented the whole room and still smokes I had a spiritual experience I got warm around the heart had to lean back and first understand what's going on here. The oud is full of musk and charcoal dirt from the leather maker himself overwhelming and antique
i've had a few Chinese under my nose but this is the most beautiful oud I've come across Oud matures into the unexplored
it changes with age and each bottled tola goes its own way depending on its location
They are all unique and super time capsules with one gram you will definitely last forever
chosen with care because it is rather unsuitable for going out and possern here you go
into the Oudverseum everything you want to see will be given to you, you have the power to
if you want to direct red fruits, then let it be incense? Then smell it again
everything here that wood can do is simply fabulous
Thanks to KoOud :)
