Mouthwatering? Not really…
I have three of the seven follies from Yves Rocher. They are all bottled in fun and colourful vessels. The Mouthwatering Summer is one of them. It has a distinct grapefruit note right at the beginning. It moves from fruity to floral to woody. Very fast. Usually I like grapefruit due to the bitterness but it fades away quickly and the scent turns to the black currant note, which in this fragrance is way too synthetic. After less than half an hour it lands in a somewhat woody base, but it is not possible to detect what woods. The notes registered say cedar and sandalwood. It could be. I am not sure.
With six notes this could have been a good and interesting composition. Instead it ends up leaving an indifferent impression, maybe because it does not know what it wants to be.
