The Perfect Oud Scent?
Actually, I’m not an Oud fan at all. Often it’s too animalistic for me.
But here? Here it’s different.
I’m talking about a fragrance that completely captivated me. From the very first spray.
The opening is slightly oriental and a bit sweet. Oud meets Turkish rose. Simply perfectly balanced. Nothing is off-putting, nothing becomes overwhelming. The Oud feels noble, soft, and incredibly well integrated. For me, it’s the perfect Oud.
In the heart, saffron joins in, accompanied by a fine tobacco note..
In the drydown, cedarwood reveals itself, giving the fragrance a nice, slightly dry base. The Oud runs like a red thread through the entire composition. Also, a subtle hint of leather.
And then the performance: absolute amazing sillage. Amazing longevity. This thing lasts and radiates without becoming unpleasant. Exactly the kind of scent one wishes for.
For me, it’s a solid 10 out of 10.
Definitely worth trying.
