Just a Cardamon Scent
Ophidian means "snake-like" and the brand uses imagery of black scales in the promotion of this fragrance. They describe it as a vanilla forward fragrance with spices and resin. They quote how the difference between medicine and poison is dosage. That all sounds really cool and interesting. The reality is not so much. This is a nice cardamon scent. Its almost photo realistic with its natural warmth and subtle sweetness but you can detect hints of incense and earth. But that is really it. Its a linear fragrance and the cardamon is the main and only star of the show. It felt really uninspiring. It just is.
The projection is not great with this fragrance, its very much a skin scent which is surprising considering the notes listed. The fragrance also only lasted about 4 hours on my skin. There are two sizes and prices available starting at 10ml for $34 and 30ml for $84.
