Aromatic Ambery Cardamom
An almost balsamic opening where neroli and petitgrain are clearly perceptible, working with helichrysum (immortelle).
Almost immediately comes a broadside of cardamom, warm spicy amber. A touch of iris cuts through the amber part, counterbalancing it with its dusty effect. A touch of mimosa is perceptible at this moment.
To support the amber part even more, I smell a lot of benzoin working with an amber patch.
Other resins help the fragrance.
The absolute ruler is Cardamom, but it is very elegant and wearable. I liked it in the end.

Starting to use it one step at a time won me over. This spiciness contrasted by the balsamic and fresh notes of the head totally annihilated me. I raise the rating from the initial 8 to a full 9 even 9+.

Sweet n Round
Fantastic citrusy opening, tainted by the spicy touch of cardamom, which opens the transition to the floral part that peeps out for a good number of hours with sweet tones to which helichrysum, tuberose and mimosa clearly contribute, and then heads towards the sweet, rounded base due to the amber accord that results from the combination of benzoin, labdanum and vanilla.
The earthy touch of patchouli is only perceived when the perfume becomes a skin scent.

A certainly good work, which if it had had a more prolonged initial citrus phase and a slightly darker, dirty base phase, would have been fantastic IMHO.
But this is a completely subjective discourse, dictated by my tastes.

Andrea, the nose behind, however, with this one and nuage vert shows that he has shots in the arm and I will be curious in the future to smell more of his work.

A "meditative" and ever-changing olfactory journey
Palais Royal is a versatile and sophisticated scent that is reminiscent of the Parisian Palais Royal and its gardens. It starts with bright and quite green citrus notes of petitgrain, bergamot and neroli. This effervescent opening then transitions into a multifaceted heart. I have noted a strong mimosa and floral notes of iris, along with some aromatic and spicy notes of cardamom, helichrysum, galbanum, geranium, Roman chamomile and mate.
The base of Palais Royal is warm, rich and balsamic: the drydown has key notes of vanilla absolute, benzoin, labdanum and patchouli.
This combination creates a sweet, resinous and vaguely powdery depth which feels rich and long-lasting.

The scent of La Belle Époque
This is a very special composition that has blown my mind from the first spray. A fragrance about the best French tradition, made by a very talented young italian nose, Andrea Rusce.
But why is it so rare? Neither a chypre, nor a fougére, not a floriental, this perfume has all these profiles together and none of these.
With Palais Royal, the nose managed to bring us back in time, to the grandeur and the glamour of La Belle Époque, in the early twentieth century, when France came to symbolize the epitome of wealth and beauty.
From the ornate royal palaces of Louis XIV to the imaginative catwalks of fashion week in the city of lights, French fashion has been synonymous with pureness and politics.
PR evokes the spirit and the smell of these scenarios, with his vintage style, the impeccable blending technique and the truly remarkable search for raw materials from all over the world, that make this perfume truly unique and not replicable in further batches.

The jus opens with a splendid neroli and petitgrain combo, followed by spicy cardamom, buttery iris and tuberose and slightly aromatic and suaves immortelle and mimosa flowers, perfectly balanced by a balmy, woody and resinous basenotes, with patchouli, vanilla abs, labdanum and benjoin among the others. Therefore, the olfactory profile is never too oldie, heavy or stale, nor too sweet and floral, as each note is combined with a delicate hand, for a perfect unisex and charming vibe.
105 units avaiable only, when they’re gone, are gone.
Artistic perfumery, as it should be.
Pure class and nonchalance.

Sweet trip
I really like the well-perceptible transition between the floral component, in which we feel distinctly mimosa, helichrysium and a hint of iris, and the sweet and creamy one given by benzoin and vanilla. The cardamom is also noticeable along the evolution of the same. A very good work with a remarkable quality. Well done
