Orris Soyeux Annindriya 2024

Very bright and uplifting and oddly bubbly. It feels like a fragrant drink with lots of bubbles (but not champagne). Has a faint hint of quinine, which might be why the mind goes to a gin and tonic. The aldehydes really sparkle in a lovely way. I expected a leather fragrance, but it's orris and flowers with a bitter edge that gives it sophistication, not droopy sweetness. It's airy, but doesn't fly away.
