I'd rather hop on the Egyptian Sphinx, even if it doesn't have those jasmine-meaty rose veins. I'd gladly take the dust. As long as I can escape the fermenting woods :-))
Thanks to Chizza, the archaeologist. I'm similarly unimpressed here. It's a pretty ordinary rose oud boat, where the fruity Damask rose and the sour Bulgarian rose dominate. Jasmine adds a slight animalic fleshiness, while the oud feels somewhat synthetic, sharpened by the rather scratchy saffron. In the base, there are more powdery iris and musk roots on washed-out patchouli. Overall, it feels too piercing to me.
This isn't going to work out between the label and me.
