Sweaty Aniseed
Not in a bad way. But not in a way that it fits with my general scent preferences. The opening is intensely aromatic (reminiscent of a strong tinge of aniseed) which I imagine is from the Ether molecule they're using. The dry down is similar to that of their other scent Smoulder - a slightly sweaty but intoxicating bonfire smoke. I find it to be sharp and hot, both textural and temperate extremes that I don't favour although those elements do soften over time and the dry down becomes a slightly more powdery/fizzy version of Smoulder. It's not quite for me but definitely an interesting scent to try if you like a sharp, aromatic, smoky scent.
