This is fun!
For the first 5 or 10 minutes the birch tar/smoke overwhelmed everything and I thought, "Oh no. Here's another new/niche perfumer who's overdosed the smoke and drown their composition," BUT... after the smoke settled, this actually smells great. A little sweet, a little frankincesey, and I pick up hints of the chemical, unscented type of suntan lotion -- all with faint smoke swirling and twirling around it. It's pretty much linear after the smoke settles but I'm not finding that problematic at all because it's a delightful composition.
I'm looking forward to revisiting this in hot, humid weather to see how it performs. (It's dead of winter right now where I live.)
