Nice but too cloying

This is very powdery and musk heavy. The rest of the notes get lost in the fragrance and feel like an afterthought. I wanted to love this fragrance, but I honestly felt disappointed because it there wasn't a lot of depth to it beyond the powder and musk notes. It's not a bad scent, I would probably be more inclined to wear it layered with a more floral or even a sweet floral fragrance, perhaps a heavy Jasmine or Rose scent to help bring the notes out more in this one.

Luxury in a summer dress - unfortunately fleeting

Summer Mink is a real highlight for me when it comes to modern, luxurious fragrances with character. The opening is wonderfully fresh with Italian citrus fruits and a hint of clary sage, which immediately conveys a feeling of summer and lightness. As the fragrance progresses, a floral heart unfolds that is pleasantly soft and rounded. Jasmine and rose harmonize beautifully, accompanied by a fine spiciness that gives the fragrance depth.

The base with vetiver, musk and ambrofix creates an elegant, clean aura, but remains quite subtle. For me, this is exactly where the biggest weakness lies: the longevity is unfortunately only mediocre. After five to six hours, there is hardly anything left to be felt. The sillage is also rather restrained, even shortly after spraying it on, the fragrance remains quite close to the skin. To be honest, I would have expected more presence for the price.

The bottle, on the other hand, is an absolute highlight. It looks high quality, fits well in the hand and looks great. A real collector's item for me.

Overall, Summer Mink is a wonderful fragrance that does a lot right olfactorily. All the more regrettable that it doesn't last longer. If you wear it, you should be prepared to refresh it throughout the day.
