Honey soap without soap charcoal.
Oh well.
As a surprise for my Wednesday enthusiastic girlfriend, this fragrance should serve here and came in time in my hands.
But I wouldn't be a perfume enthusiast if I didn't have to check whether it lives up to the name "Wednesday".
Sprayed it on and regretted it... or not? First impression... Glass cleaner. The mixture of orange, lavender and iris paired with the alcohol is off-putting at first.
After a few seconds, when the alcohol nestles behind the fragrance notes, the honey joins in and harmonizes wonderfully, especially with the lavender and orange.
It is reminiscent of a honey soap with a floral-fruity note, but without being really soapy.
Over time, a light bouquet of roses nestles in. More like dried roses, which have a rather sombre effect.
In the drydown, patchouli and sandalwood mix in and make Wednesday seem a little more grown-up and warm up the fragrance a little without appearing very spicy/woody.
I am actually very surprised. H/S unfortunately really modest, but that was to be expected.
More of a feminine fragrance but wouldn't be averse to wearing it as a man.

Velvet Teddy! Genau danach habe ich gesucht. Ich hatte irgendwas würziges in meiner Nase, das mir so bekannt vorkam. Es war der Velvet Teddy, der in meinem Schrank steht 😅
