Fennel honey with patch

....or Gothicangel from the drugstore...so let it work first...me and Bilou, that's such a double-edged sword, but I still have to test it...because the bottle is black. As a typical marketing victim, I naturally associate it with something spicy, dark and wicked, not a girly fragrance. I like it for the right occasion and season. Wednesday starts with a fennel-honey scent, so it's really in your face, the lavender is more of that tart, ethereal kind like in the oils. And now comes the Dark Side, goth patch note...I think the actor (The Crow) would have found his signature scent. Somehow I also perceive an orange note and now comes the moment again...huh reminds me of Angel and I don't really like that! The emphasis is on actually...Let's make a long story short, a very interesting cheapie for me when my mood and the temperatures are right. Who would have thought. After 5 minutes, the fragrance has developed into a dark vanilla-honey note for me, a bit sandalwoody, which doesn't seem cheap. Well, I like the black sheep of the line more and more. I am also surprised by the H/S.

No, it's not just for "teens"...

...just because it's from a certain company and is available in the drugstore.

On the paper strip, I was fascinated by the honey, which is very warm and delicious. The rose came later. I actually don't like too much rose in a perfume, but here it harmonizes beautifully.
On my skin, it's honey and especially lavender that appear together; the rose comes in some time later and then musk and patchouli at the very end, which has a chocolaty effect. At least on my skin and according to my perception.

I think everything fits together here. And it can be worn by anyone who likes it.

Honey soap without soap charcoal.

Oh well.
As a surprise for my Wednesday enthusiastic girlfriend, this fragrance should serve here and came in time in my hands.

But I wouldn't be a perfume enthusiast if I didn't have to check whether it lives up to the name "Wednesday".

Sprayed it on and regretted it... or not? First impression... Glass cleaner. The mixture of orange, lavender and iris paired with the alcohol is off-putting at first.
After a few seconds, when the alcohol nestles behind the fragrance notes, the honey joins in and harmonizes wonderfully, especially with the lavender and orange.
It is reminiscent of a honey soap with a floral-fruity note, but without being really soapy.

Over time, a light bouquet of roses nestles in. More like dried roses, which have a rather sombre effect.

In the drydown, patchouli and sandalwood mix in and make Wednesday seem a little more grown-up and warm up the fragrance a little without appearing very spicy/woody.

I am actually very surprised. H/S unfortunately really modest, but that was to be expected.

More of a feminine fragrance but wouldn't be averse to wearing it as a man.

Fishing rod in a honey coat

I was able to test the fragrance extensively on my skin today. It starts very appealingly with a warm, edible honey note, into which something licorice-like is mixed. This is probably the lavender. Very gourmand and extraordinary.

We could have been friends by then.

If I had tested it in the drugstore, I would probably have bought it on the spot because of this opening.

Unfortunately, I don't like the further development at all, because it gradually turns into an Angel.

After three hours, all I can smell on my skin is this jasmine sambac note, which also smells very masculine.

I think the fragrance as a whole is unisex and extraterrestrial fans will probably love it.
The longevity is rather poor, after two hours it is only skin-deep.

Sillage is also not that special.
You have to spray a lot to get something out of it and I find it relatively expensive for that.

Honey-patchouli-sandalwood

Even though I like it, it clearly starts too sweet for Wednesday's character and stays that way for at least 20 minutes: Sugary honey with iris and jasmine.
Then come earthy patchouli, very strong, woody sandalwood and some rose. However, the sweetness and playfulness remains in parts and reminds me more of Wednesday's mother (Catherine Zeta-Jones). Seductive, wicked and yet also somehow lovely and enchanting.
A bit of summer rain in the cemetery.
