Overall: a rich, mysterious, seductive - almost illicit - fruity, suede shroud designed for a specific wearer.
As another pointed out, Drunk Lovers is aptly named. This scent is experiential - like finding your way through the dark and slightly cluttered apothecary shop of a refined, nomadic mature woman. Though it's absent of a leather note, fans of leather may enjoy the richness and depth of this composition. What's most discernible to me: the slightly citrusy pepperiness of ginger and lemongrass, ambiguous fruit-sourced sweetness, and the booziness of cognac, all housed under a warm, resinous halo. It reminds me a lot of Gillian Owens in Practical Magic, specifically when she encounters Jimmy Angelov in that dark hallway.
*NOT* a safe blind buy, as the complexity of this needs to be tested with skin chemistry. As I tend to have naturally acidic (almost lemony) skin, I believe I can have an easier time with deeper, richer scents like these.
The scent trail on this is insane, so spray with caution. Very long lasting but does mellow with time. I'm quickly becoming a big fan of BTSO.
