Subtle, warming scent, but too weak for an EdP

Here comes my comment on Parti Pris by Terry de Gunzburg, my favorite among her 5 fragrances. I don’t understand why the scent has this name, but that’s not really important (according to the dictionary, Parti pris = preconceived opinion, bias).

At the beginning, the scent is perceived as floral, but it quickly transitions into the balsamic notes and the ylang-ylang.

It becomes really delicious and soft, but unfortunately, it is very subdued on my skin; for an Eau de Parfum, the scent should be significantly stronger.

Conclusion: a warming, not too sweet, pleasant scent, but in my opinion, too weak.

I’m curious to see how it performs on other testers :-)

It lasts a long time on me too and isn’t too weak, just right for a little spritz :) but very well described, thank you! Trophy roll

I absolutely agree! I also think Parti Pris is great, but it's way too subtle. It's a shame it's not a bit stronger; otherwise, it would have gone straight onto my wish list...

Yes, Ylang-Ylang comes through for me too. ... I think it's very well made, but too weak. ... Well described. Trophy.

I feel the same way, I got all five perfumes as testers. **Parti Pris** starts off beautifully, but unfortunately, it doesn't last on me...
