Cæleste is a Romanian perfume brand whose aesthetic and content are strongly influenced by religious symbolism, particularly Christian angelology, as well as the historical origins of perfume. The creative director of the brand is Ștefan Răduț.
Răduț understands fragrance as a cultural and spiritual medium that transcends pure sensory perception and ties in with early historical practices such as burning incense, aromatic herbs, spices, and flower blossoms as ritual sacrifices.
The design and artwork were created by Aleksandar Stoicovici, whose visual work is influenced by religious experiences and analog collages. The bottle design was developed by JP Matterstudio and is based on principles of sacred geometry.
Cæleste's brand concept combines perfumery, design, and spiritual symbolism in the three debut fragrances released in 2024: Archangels by Cristiano Canali, Guardian Angel by Christian Carbonnel a.k.a. Chris Maurice, and Principalities by David-Lev Jipa Slivinschi a.k.a. Toskovat'.
