Friends of the (fragrant) sun, today I was in the drugstore and... there it was, the Soleil de France. Both the tester and the product were available. A miracle... and a call to everyone who can't get this hyped fragrance because it's sold out everywhere to take a trip to the Westerwald Arkaden. In the Westerwald, there are actually still 3 copies!
Joking aside... I finally got to test the (fragrance that polarizes opinions) little potion and can hereby confirm the similarity to the "Cheirosa '62 / Brazilian Crush Cheirosa '62 | Sol de Janeiro". The sun of France starts off a bit sharper than the sun of Rio de Janeiro, but after a while, it shines and radiates very similarly.
In the summery, sweet-salty trail mix at the start, coconut milk and tropical vanilla join in. If the scent were a cocktail, it would be a Nutty Colada. Absolute Tropical Vibes...! If this doesn't put you in a vacation mood, you really need help. There's no trace of apple, but the base brings even more gourmand notes into play instead of a cooling effect. Willy Wonka meets Tony Tonka, one could say. The chocolate, by the way, is white.
Well, you probably guessed it... the fragrance polarizes! Some love the sweet tropical vibes, while others hate the synthetic, sticky sweetness. Conflicts are pre-programmed.
The scent lasts several hours and projects well. Câline has done a great job once again.
Conclusion: A fragrance for all who love trail mix and tropical sweet cocktails, but can't afford either the "Cheirosa '62 / Brazilian Crush Cheirosa '62 | Sol de Janeiro" or a vacation in Brazil or France, Soleil de France is the perfect scent.
