Richborough
This one is called Richborough and it's smell is based on the smells from a old roman fort in Margate.

For those who have no idea about this scent or the creators let me give you some information before I describe the scent. Haeckels has a shop in the lovely Margate area in the UK that sells products with all natural ingredients. They have a range of Edp fragrances that are based on areas around their location with the ingredients sourced from the area as well. They even have a lovely video of each of the areas the scents were inspired by so you can wear the scent and check out the video at the same time.

Well this opens up very minty with citrus on a green herbal backdrop. It's clean refreshing and the green herbalness just gets stronger and stronger as time goes by. You know when you are in nature and some leaves have that intense bitter green smell, well it's what I'm smelling in with the mint. Around the edges of the scent there are some floral tinges that come and go. Projection is good and the smell and the quality is top notch but I don't know if this is my cup of tea. I think sometimes when you are not used to something it may take time to warm to it's charms. Smells good though no denying that.

Curly Mint, Mint, Curly
Wonderful, naturally occurring green mint. It runs through the fragrance from start to finish, embedded in changing citrus and floral contexts. For me, it is very important that this scent never really becomes warm; even the base note is bright and cool. (Actually, there isn't really a true base.) The fragrance is energetic, invigorating, and uplifting, yet still gentle. Rose and chamomile tame this mint: it doesn't bite, doesn't bring tears to your eyes, doesn't numb the sense of smell, isn't sweet at all, and feels very natural. The scent feels light, yet still radiates well. Mint is a note that I often don't like very much in perfumes, especially as a dominant component, but here it completely convinces me.

Clearly, this is more suited for summer. Aside from that, I find this perfume (like almost all from this brand) quite versatile: elegant, but casual enough for jeans and a sweater, office-appropriate, yet still distinctive.

The fragrances from this manufacturer are all inspired by the area around Margate in Kent. On the website, there are videos about the individual scents and their places of origin. I find the somewhat cumbersome designation by coordinates to be a contrived joke. Fortunately, the perfumes can also be found on Parfumo under their names. This one is called "Richborough."

Slightly more floral, sweet and softer version of Torino21. Again, akin to essential oil blending, rather than perfumery.

It mainly smells like spearmint.
You have to like it, I don't.
Otherwise, it's not bad and at least not overwhelming.

Reminds me of "You or someone like you" - it's fresh and minty, synthetic is fine, a summer-ready scent.
