Versatile Anytimer
So far of the handful of perfumes I've tried since getting into fragrance this one is my favorite.
I notice the two previous reviews say it's very oakmoss heavy and I don't get that at all.
For me it's the black currant that really comes through. I find this perfume has a sweet but not overly sugary black currant candy smell. It reminds me of Rowntree Fruit Pastilles. I find the black currant lasts for the duration but it goes from slightly candy like to a bit spicy as it dries down.
This scent lasts on me for quite a long time. It has better projection at first and becomes a bit more intimate as it dries down. I've put this on at 2pm and can still smell a whisper of it getting up the next day at 5am.
I don't find this perfume to be tied down to a season or time of day. It's fairly versatile. Black currant does have a deeper quality to it than a lot of fruits. It's not as light and fresh. I think that allows it to carry from day to night really well.
