Without a purpose
Classic, blue, and versatile. It doesn't reinvent the wheel. It's clearly a well-known and somewhat generic scent, not only in perfumery, but also in deodorants and aftershaves.
Crystal-clear opening of bergamot, pepper, and lavender, and although I don't say so, I swear on all that's holy that this has ginger in it. It has a sharp, green note that's unmistakable. It evolves after just a few minutes to something more woody, salty, musky, perhaps also somewhat ambery, probably due to those woods. It ends up drying down into a damp woodiness with a musky, somewhat balsamic, and resinous base.
This is something we've all smelled. We've all had the typical €20 kit with aftershave, deodorant, and 50ml cologne in a cloth bag. Surely any supermarket sells this, and if not this one, it's Sea Masters' twin.
For €35 on Amazon, I think it's great. It's the "all-purpose" one, like Gotas Frescas from Instituto Español, but a little more "stately", "dressy", and lasting a bit longer. Now, €70 as it's crossed out on their website or €49.95 as they have it now, LOL, but no.
In short: Is it okay? Yes, of course. But if you give it to me cheap, even better. Let's not get carried away
