Pleasant, but not what I was expecting
Based on the description of this scent, I was expecting something that transported me to a rainy, misty bamboo grove. Something very green, wet, and fresh. Instead, the violet note really dominates and makes it smell like a predominantly floral perfume. It is a very clean violet, almost synthetically so, which makes it trend closer to air freshener or spa diffuser on my skin. I honestly don't detect much water or rain either. It is still a very nice and wearable scent, but I am disappointed that it didn't deliver on the promise of bamboo and rain showers. I have also been consistently impressed with the longevity. Clean scents like this tend to be almost imperceptible after two or three hours, but this one lasts double that for me.
