honeyed tea and hay bootsss
I recently bought 5 more samples from d.grayi and Honey Bunny was apart of the bunch. Mainly because anything with osmanthus catches my eye, but the entire breakdown of notes spoke to me and for good reason. Weird comparison but first sniff reminds me a lot of a the aroma of Tennessee whiskey but completely void of any astringency.
That spicy, honeyed feel goes less boozy and more fresh hot tea. The loose leaf kind that you brewed with foraged leaves and flowers, topped off with honey from a local farm. It smells very personal and nostalgic. A different take on warm, ambery skin that i’d love to smell in a hug or in the sheets
