The "night version" of "Tilleul" is very, very close to the original. A bit darker, denser, more concentrated, dimmed. But basically still the same linden blossom classic.
Like jasmine, only with more understatement and old-fashioned delight, warmth, softness. Summery, rainy, sultry, stuffy. A relaxed light floral. Almost a romantic myth. Sweaty, misty, green. A spring transformation artist. Just at around 1 AM instead of noon. Nevertheless, of course, not an evening or going-out fragrance. More of a laid-back scent for flower girls and wedding speakers, for forest fairies and lawn mowers, for rain-dream dancers and silly poets. Light gray honey juice in the full moon shimmer.
Bottle: handy & unremarkable
Sillage: noticeable, but quiet
Longevity: 7 hours, maybe a bit more
Conclusion: a slightly darker and more concentrated version of "Tilleul" that I would reach for... if I were more fond of linden blossom. But it's not quite to my taste.
