Oli is the eye of your soul to see the world in a positive perspective.
Oli by Enrico Buccella is the fifth release from Ecuacion Natural and I am happy to own this incredibly original fragrance because it has a unique smell that I had never come across before in another fragrance. This is my first time ever smelling a fragrance by Enrico Buccella and I am really impressed with OLI.
The fragrance is an extrait perfume that comes in a 30ml bottle and a 10ml bonus travel spray. I also love the striking piece of artwork on the box that really fits the mood of the fragrance. The recommended song for this fragrance by Pedro the owner of Ecuacion Natural is Bird Gerhl by Antony Hegarty, this is an interesting choice indeed, since the artwork and the song really transported me to a peaceful place making me stop for a moment to appreciate the beauty of life and reconnect myself to find the goodness in myself and let my soul travel to a place of serenity. I am sure that Ecuacion Natural and Enrico Buccella put a lot of thought in OLI and is my favourite from their whole releases so far, the reason being because OLI is unisex and an all year-round fragrance that's very versatile.
Let me tell you what beauty awaits you once you experience Oli on your skin. Oli opens with a beautiful black pepper note with citrus and green tea. Since this is a strong extrait it needs its time and moment to settle until it starts to open to new notes. Around the 20-minute mark I started getting the rose and oily patchouli note. Those not too fond of patchouli need not worry too much as this is beautifully balanced with Haitian vetiver which is one of my favourite notes ever. The myrrh, labdanum and benzoin notes really give OLI that punch of originality, and this is where OLI really starts to sparkle and make heads turn. I can also detect a slight animalic note but it's a very soft animalic note since it paves way for some beautiful amber notes and musks in the dry down.
OLI is timeless. In fact, if you had to find a bottle of OLI without knowing anything about it you would think that this is from another time or era. It has that classic vintage feel about it.
OLI is an original fragrance and a fragrance that stands out from the crowd. It's not loud or beastly but it's persistent and lasts a long time on my skin. It's also incredibly versatile, I can imagine myself wearing OLI to a wedding and I can adapt OLI to work for a drink out with my friends. Not matter where or occasion you wear this fragrance, it will be noticed and remembered. OLI creates a bubble around me just like the butterflies in the picture. It surrounds me and makes me appreciate the beauty we sometimes miss with our own eyes.
