Japanese Lemon Tea
This fragrance is basically iced black tea with lemons. There is a certain cold and fresh spiciness to it which makes it great to wear on bleak mornings. Easily unisex, but leans somewhat masculine in my opinion due to how sharp it feels. The dry down eventually softens into a faint citrus musk, I personally don't smell any cedar. Not safe for blind buy, however if you love lemon tea definitely try this one! It does have longevity problems and becomes a skin scent within 3-4h, spraying it on clothes makes it last somewhat longer but it becomes more linear. Keep in mind samples and full bottles are practically impossible to acquire unless you live in Asia or live near a consignment store that carries it. For what it is this was quite expensive, in a larger collection this would be something I don't reach for as much.
UPDATE
This fragrance smooths out a lot more after you macerate it, the astringency and spice soften significantly and it now has an airy elegant quality which was previously undetectable. Updated on 03/24/2025
