I have a mixed relationship with the sea, and that extends to the world of scents. Your words give me a sense of vastness and depth - maybe mimosa would be my anchor here.
I got to know the character through the Attar version and really liked it. Then it was topped by Mystical Lotus, which is a semi-bespoke version of Blue Kalbar and is just incredible to me.
Yes, it's truly grand, poetic cinema.
I just read it the day before yesterday. About the gentle glide of a whale and the hustle of a school of herring. Between fear and hope. It never ends.
Beautifully described by you! I think it might be a bit too rounded and light for me here. I prefer those dense, very concentrated monsters from Ensar ^^
Blue Kalbar: a snapshot.
🪼🪷 The scent has intrigued me for months.
Thanks to @Ays, I finally got to experience a hint of this buttery, fragile beauty. In my imagination, it resembles the calming, meditative rhythm of the root-mouth jellyfish gliding in the sea.
Something smooth between heaven and earth.
Something fern-like between island and water.
Silent retreat in the shade of a blue cedar.
Quote from Ensar: How many colors go into a painting? How many different notes to compose a symphony?
Sweet-floral, ethereal. Between green & blue. Calm, gentle, hypnotically rippling.
Creamy, balsamic, enveloping sandalwood.
Civet paste is the grain of salt in the soup.
I love this unfathomable depth.
The pull of this Heritage Collection - Lotus Flower could definitely lure me in.
This is an unusual, slightly veering into the Dixit&Zak segment civet sandalwood floral. It's not bad and fits into a different, less prominent corner of the Ensar range. I found it surprisingly "moderate" in terms of longevity. In the end, I only had a light, slightly floral wood shimmer on my skin. It's doable.
Thanks for the sample. 😁
The jellyfish scent: oh... no....
Sounds kind of interesting.

The description below!!!! Sounds really fascinating. It might even tempt me.

I still can’t get enough of it. 🪼 You captured the scent very accurately. Civet is truly the salt in the fragrant flower cup.
