Sweet-floral old wood trail, with a clandestine oud theme to the fullest; fruity wood glaze aka "The Expensive Distraction".

It's definitely a high-quality fragrance, no doubt about it. Still, it's not in my price range or preferred scent profile.

Oud to the fullest would probably be a bit too much for me.

That could very well be the case 馃槄.

Great statement! However, the pricing policy takes my breath away. This kind of forced exclusivity always unsettles me a bit.

This is beyond good and evil. I'm out on this one, even though I've made purchases directly from Ensar before. But these >$1000 prices for 15-30ml are just an exclusivity that I don't WANT to afford.

A really intriguing statement, you rarely see that.

Well described, this is definitely something for me. I like it when it makes a nice squeak in the jungle :)

I'm not a fan of the opening either, but the rest might appeal to me :)

That sounds good, but at that price, I'm out.

Hikayat & Agar make me happier in the end. They鈥檙e not into silly florals and don鈥檛 overdo it with prices and mass releases. Sweet-floral... yikes... 馃槄

The ratings don't really appeal to us based on your description.

Is it worth the price?

Definitely not for me, and I think for a large part of the users here as well. It's certainly also a matter of "income." If it doesn't hurt to spend between $1200 and $1500 for 30ml and you're into high-end, you might find a hit here. But judging by the scent profile, I鈥檇 say there are better options from Ensar at a much lower price point.

Thank you! I'm definitely at risk of that, although usually in a different fragrance direction. 馃榿

True words. I was expecting a bit more raw power from Kyara as well.

I really don't like the opening at all. Later on, a lot of quality shines through. But for that price? No, I'm not willing to pay for a fragrance that only starts to convince me in the middle.

Quality is definitely there, no question about it, although this floral opening with a fruity texture is quite over the top and doesn鈥檛 exactly set the stage perfectly. The shift to a strong dark "solvent oud" that somewhat resembles wood varnish, which comes shortly after, I find much more appealing and certainly shows excellent *select harvest* from Ensar. I could have easily done without all the "decorative extras" (jasmine, champaca, saffron). What I really dislike is the completely joyless pricing policy, which is truly no longer justifiable, as well as the colorful wave of new releases. With the Priv茅e line getting increasingly expensive, the financial aspect is slowly sinking into the abyss. In my opinion, such releases are unnecessary; I鈥檓 happy to stick with the classics from the Heritage line. Sending love to @Seejungfrau!

You're right. At least you can rule out what doesn't necessarily have to be. :-)
