I'm probably one of the few who is rather underwhelmed by the scent. It's just different from what I had hoped for; I didn't expect it to be so fruity-sweet. But as it is now, it's not really my style. I'll test it again after my current EO samples for my final opinion.
You also mention something I've noticed. One of the labels on my bottle isn't applied cleanly, so I could just peel it off without any issues.
I find it funny with the sprayer because I had already contacted support about my 1984, reporting that the sprayer wasn't securely attached, causing it to leak while spraying until I tightened it. I'll have to pay attention to whether the sprayer is different; that could be another reason.
With the sprayer, I feel like it leans slightly towards ALD. The spray lasts relatively "long," if you can call it that. I’d say it’s about half as long as ALD, which is still long 😄
As for the scent, I had something different in mind, but I was absolutely not disappointed-in fact, quite the opposite!
I would definitely give the fragrance some time. I think it will change a bit here and there.
There's so much happening here. It all starts with fruity notes of black currant and peaches, which aren't listed in the notes but are definitely noticeable to me. For a top note, I find this impression lasts quite a while before different ouds take over and steer it in a woody direction. Interwoven with the peach, which remains present for a long time, it creates a golden shimmer. It's like sunlight falling into a wooden room. I can also sense flowers, but they're more in the background. Amber, the theme of the fragrance, comes in late. Then it gets a bit salty. Overall, it stays warm, and the ouds complement it until the end.
The quality from the box to the label is just terrible! It's not just your case, but also with others, including mine! For the prices they're charging, this is unacceptable.
I believe Ensar has created a scent here that many people will really enjoy. Overall, I feel like the recent releases are on the rise again. However, the bottle is, in my opinion, terrible for the price being asked. I feel like they used different sprayers that are better, but the label is made of cheap paper, stuck on crooked, has already come loose a bit for me, and there were air bubbles trapped underneath. H/S very good.
Hope the AF arrives soon. ;)
