Victorian clean girl
This fragrance house started in the 1870s, and created Iris Musc so fragrances like Glossier You could run. It’s an understated, clean musky scent. Like posh soap from an apothecary in Grasse.
It’s got a lovely polite powdery quality from the iris, and a little sweetness. It’s modest and pretty, inoffensive. Perfect for upper class French ladies promenading the streets of Paris, or 2025 women rotting in bed reading French Victorian novels.
