Forgotten Florals Bloom
According to the website, the perfumer sat on this fragrance and kinda forgot about it. It was only by coincidence that this scent became available to us. This almost forgotten fragrance feels like a homage to the almost forgotten florals in perfumery. There is more than jasmine, rose, and lilacs. Don't get me wrong, those scents are wonderful, but there is more to explore in the world. This fragrance makes you feel like Thumbelina who was so tiny she was born inside a flower, rode a lily pad, and eventually lives in a field of flowers with her prince. This is thick and indolic with a bright and fresh green to balance, and hint of fruitiness in the background. Indolic is usually associated with jasmine but the note in this fragrance does remind me of tulips. As this fragrance dries down, there is something that makes me think of blowing the seeds off the head of a dandelion.
This fragrance starts off with a fairly strong scent bubble but eases into a close skin scent. This fragrance lasted about 5 hours on my skin. There is one size available, a 15ml for $49.
