Royal Blend Séquoia French Avenue 2025

Angels Share with a Fruity Raspberry
Royal Blend Sequoia is actually the first Royal Blend fragrance that I have tested and purchased from French Avenue. It was definitely not a bad buy! However, I must say that I cannot fully agree with the huge hype surrounding it.
It is definitely a beautiful scent. You have here roughly the DNA of a Kilian Angels Share, and additionally, this type of fragrance plays with a raspberry note.
It fits well and will certainly please some. The inspiration for the fragrance was the Angels Share Paradis, which worked with the note of raspberry.
The scent starts right from the beginning with a raspberry that is relatively active. You have here the basic structure of Angels Share, which is definitely recognizable, but additionally, there is this prominent fruity raspberry.
I must say that I find this really nice in general.
Furthermore, it is the case that Royal Blend Sequoia comes across to me as somewhat "rough" in the initial phase. There is something in the first approximately 20 minutes that bothers my nose. After those mentioned and estimated 20 minutes, however, it becomes all the more beautiful and all notes come into harmony.
As the fragrance develops further, I actually cannot perceive any major changes anymore. It generally becomes a bit sweeter because the alcoholic notes recede more and more. For my nose, it is thus a relatively linear scent. I find that absolutely not bad! I think linear scent developments are perfectly fine, and sometimes I even prefer them to numerous complex changes.
Royal Blend Sequoia lasts about eight hours on my skin and has a pleasing projection/sillage.
It does not radiate brutally, but it does not hide either.
The fragrance is also wonderfully unisex.
If you enjoy fragrances like Angels Share and additionally like fruity accents, then you are exactly right here.
