Shaken, not stirred
I don’t usually test stuff from clone houses but I didn’t realize this was a clone / dupe whatever when I ordered the decant. The bottle resonated with me, it has a leathery classification so I ordered it.
It smells pretty nice! I see it gets compared with Falcon Leather and I get that. Though FL is much more in your face. Spectre is sweeter, like it has a honeyed tobacco vibe going. It reminds me more of Carlisle by PdM than anything else. After about two hours a weird, sour vegetable kind of note gets picked up when smelled up close.
Spraying it for the first time the projection seemed lacking. I was puzzled by the high ratings here on Parfumo. So gave it another couple of sprays. But it picks up pace during the next couple of hours so that’s fun if you’re in class or in a business meeting. Be careful with that triggerfinger.
Not picking up a bottle of this because in the end it’s not much of an original product. But when you’re looking for a cool, dark, leather perfume and you have a tight budget? Look no further.
