Sugar Skin
Looking at the notes, I was expecting a hefty floral gourmand, but this turned out to be a surprisingly light skin scent.
Opens with a bit of jammy citrus (Parfumo lists jam as a note, but Glasshouse specifies marmalade) that quickly fades to a light sugared lily — I don’t pick up on any rose or jasmine at all. Eventually the lily fades to a light sugar base backed by very soft amber.
Overall, I feel a little unsure about it. Although it doesn’t feel particularly special, I could see myself reaching for this when I just want a subtly sweet, unchallenging skin scent.
Projection is quite light, and longevity is on the low end of moderate, around 4-5 hours.
