The Woody Clean Freak…
First, I probably have to say that I am a Goelds fan and have always said that I would buy a perfume directly when it eventually comes out…
Years later, the time had finally come, and I jumped on it directly in the presale, because what could possibly go wrong with the well-known DNA?!
Unfortunately, in the end, I was a bit disappointed, because the typical Goelds DNA, which I love in beard and hair care products, is simply too boring and unremarkable for me as a perfume.
Therefore, I have only used the scent 4-5 times since its release.
It is the woody, clean, slightly fresh scent that you also know from the soap and the oil, but as a perfume, it is just too unspectacular for me… maybe I have also become spoiled by all the niche fragrances by now.
However, the biggest drawback for me is the longevity. Generally, scents last a long time on my skin, but this scent is only barely perceptible after a few hours until it completely disappears.
For the price, the overall package doesn’t really fit for me, unfortunately.
I will probably wear it as an office scent and then not reorder.
