Heavenly
This fragrance flies so much under the radar. Really wonderful what Gulf Orchid delivers here.
A buttery-soft, creamy-spicy fragrance that remains gently fruity even in the drydown. A very restrained sweetness is complemented by a hint of smoke.
The whole is enveloped by a tobacco note that I can hardly describe. It is definitely not very pronounced, rather subtle and very well nuanced. The tobacco note is a little reminiscent of pipe tobacco with a very minimal chocolatey character.
To be honest, I'm surprised that smoke made it into the fragrance description. I find Sweet Heaven Tobacco less smoky and spicy and much more creamy and spicy...in a wonderfully unobtrusive way.
The fragrance is well suited for the fall and winter season, but can also be worn on a warm summer evening - but then tends to be worn on special occasions.
Sweet Heaven Tobacco is not an overpowering fragrance. But if you wear a fragrance like this, you don't want to be announced by perfume - no, you want to be discovered.
The longevity is okay, after about 2.5 hours it becomes skin-deep, and after 8 hours it runs out of steam.
The bottle is first class. The atomizer could do with a little more flow, but that's manageable.
The P/L is excellent. The fragrance smells 5x as expensive. For currently 35€, Sweet Heaven Tobacco is even a candidate for a blind buy in my opinion.
