Fierce + One Million = Fierce Confidence
Fierce Confidence is, alongside Fierce Intense, the first Fierce flanker. There isn't much to read about it, but as an old Fierce fan, I had to test it, of course.
Scent: 7/10
Unfortunately, I have to say that I prefer the original Fierce scent, but I still consider FC to be a good fragrance. The top note right after spraying is very fruity, fresh, and lemony, but in my opinion, it is also somewhat generic and synthetic. However, once it dries down, it evolves further, as a high-quality woody-spicy accord serves as a foundation. This spicy accord reminds me of the typically "confident" but also intrusive club scents like One Million (yuck) or Versace Eros, but it feels much more natural, subdued, and sporty. What I miss, and what I can only minimally detect in the top note, is the Fierce-typical, albeit synthetic, but still very good musk note.
In summary: Fierce with a bit more fruit in the intro followed by a more aromatic heart note that lingers into the base.
Performance 6.5/10:
It should be mentioned that this is an EDC concentration, so the sillage is not the best; however, the longevity for an eau de cologne is excellent, similar to Fierce, perhaps a bit weaker.
Rating: 7/10
Conclusion: Although it definitely does not belong to my absolute favorites, I can recommend that any dynamic young adult test the fragrance in the next A&F flagship store; I would rather advise against a blind buy.
