What a fragrance...

WOW
Dionisio is an incredible fragrance. It is cozy, smells super sexy but not invasive. the ambergris is of very high quality and makes smelling it an experience.
It is one of the best pieces in my collection, for me it is Tiziana's best fragrance.
The price is high but it is worth it. I can't stop sticking my nose in the bottle cap every day.

The Little Patisserie

On that day, a quiet excitement spread within her.

On her way to the little patisserie in the old town, she walked through several small streets and alleys.
Round cobblestones and ancient walls created a cozy atmosphere.

There it was, the little patisserie.
She opened the door, and a warm, soft scent of gentle vanilla and caramel notes greeted her.

But everyone who tasted it was enchanted.

A Hypnotic Fascination..

Dionisio and I encountered each other very intensely and completely unexpectedly. A few months ago, I met an old friend; we hadn't seen each other in a long time and arranged to have dinner. I was looking forward to seeing him, had so much new to share, and was curious about how he had been doing lately..

When I got into his car, I experienced one of the most unforgettable moments of my olfactory senses! I perceived the most irresistible, hypnotizing, addictive scent..

Immediately, amber greeted me, a concentrated dose, accompanied by sweet vanilla and a light oud note. And there was something else! Something that made this scent fascinating and absolutely seductive for me, but I couldn't figure it out (pheromones?). I was helplessly surrendered to this fragrance, enchanted with all my senses, unable to focus on the old friend I hadn't seen in so long. I could only think of this scent, which stole all my senses second by second! “What is this fragrance?” - I asked him first, without any greeting or inquiry about his well-being, after we hadn't seen each other for what felt like an eternity.. He had the bottle strangely in the car, so I could test Dionisio on my skin and knew clearly: This is MY FRAGRANCE!

A few weeks later, I was able to call Dionisio my own, and it still fascinates me! I wear the scent at least twice a week and often have to persuade myself not to wear it so often and to try something else.
I receive incredible positive feedback from my surroundings every time and would even claim that this is the fragrance I could wear every day without needing a change!

I love Dionisio for being incredibly sexy and alluring. For giving you a powerful dose of amber (I’m a big amber fan) and harmonizing wonderfully with vanilla and musk. The scent has an incredibly beautiful and exciting progression; at some point, the oud comes into play and gives the fragrance an even more magical effect than it already has. Moreover, I love Dionisio for its incredibly great performance! Even after 12 hours on my skin, I receive compliments for Dionisio and can still perceive it very well (not skin-close)! Even the next day, everything on me smells of this fragrance! And that’s something a scent has to achieve..

Dionisio is definitely my BEST discovery of the year, turns my head every time, and captured my heart from the very first moment.

Artist of Seduction and Compliment Monster

After I set a new compliment record with a fragrance last weekend, I have to write a little review about this scent.

I wear fragrances primarily not to receive compliments. However, Dionisio managed to achieve a personal best this weekend.

I was approached about my scent the entire weekend, non-stop, exclusively by women, from young to old.

On the flight to Madrid, every flight attendant stopped next to me and asked what fragrance I was wearing, saying the whole plane smelled so pleasant (I had sprayed 3-4 times in the morning).

There’s something about this fragrance that resonates very well with the opposite sex. Is it the pheromones? I don’t know.

I have never been approached about my perfume so many times in such a short period; it continued just the same during dinner and at the club.

Incredible.

Now to the fragrance:

Dionisio doesn’t reinvent the wheel with its notes. However, Tiziana Terenzi has managed to combine these notes so elegantly and seductively that an absolutely unique fragrance has emerged.

The base throughout the fragrance journey is amber, with musk playing only a minor role for me. I wouldn’t label the opening as an absolute crowd-pleaser, as it starts slightly sour for me on some days; definitely not a scent you quickly spray on and rush out the door.

The sour note is only temporary and develops quickly. In the heart note, a beautiful vanilla joins in, acting as a sweet companion but not being too dominant in focus. The jasmine and lily of the valley give the fragrance a slightly floral touch without becoming too feminine.

In the base note, the fragrance becomes woodier and more pronounced with the oud. Here’s a little layering tip: definitely layer the scent with Nasamatto Duro; the mix of the pronounced and masculine woods from Duro with the ambered musk vanilla and sweetness from Dionisio is simply dreamy.

Dionisio always envelops you in a warm and recurring cloud of scent and lets you dream. It is always present but not intrusive, a dream of a fragrance.

The sillage and longevity are extreme; I can promise you will be noticed.

Especially as a man, the fragrance seems to have magical effects on women.

The combination with Duro probably ranks among my absolute favorite fragrances of all time, but even on its own, Dionisio is an absolute experience.

Winter Heat

After a little more than half a year with this wonderful fragrance, I feel the urge to write another comment on this masterpiece.

The opening of the scent is brutal - I stand by that. However, my nose has become a bit more delicate, and I also notice the musk. Nevertheless, I still smell a bit of vanilla in the opening. Musk is by no means a core component; it contributes more to the overall picture in the background. Most people will not perceive the musk separately. I continue to wonder how one can create such a brutal and harsh entry from amber and vanilla - but so be it.

The first hours are spent with amber and vanilla. I still do not smell jasmine and lily of the valley. Amber and vanilla actually suggest a heartwarming and gentle creation. It is warming, even against a snowstorm in the depths of winter. However, this combination can only be so warming because it is not gentle at all and has many edges and corners. Amber and vanilla fight for dominance in the perfume with elbow tactics. The competition ends in an incredible potency of both fragrance notes, which provides a breathtaking and harsh warmth. Similar to a campfire, whose heat can sometimes be difficult to control. But that does not make the scent unpleasant; on the contrary. While I always associate MFK's Grand Soir with sofa-fireplace vibes, here I have more of an après-ski campfire feel. That can also be very nice.

Fragrances that I like have always had a relatively linear scent progression. Therefore, I was initially a bit surprised by the promotion of oud in the fragrance by my niche perfumery, as I definitely could not perceive the oud there. But it turned out that at Tiziana Terenzi, base notes are indeed base notes. After a few hours - I would estimate around 6-8 - amber and vanilla become a bit tired of their competition. They are clearly present but have agreed to go into part-time and give the freed-up space to the oud. This makes the scent significantly softer and rounder. Here, I like it best, even though the amber-vanilla opening is also very nice.

Conclusion: This fragrance provides campfire heat instead of winter warmth on winter days and a feeling of cozy exceptionalism on all evenings of the year. Yes, I know, it sounds strange. But I think you know what I mean.
